Have a great time AND support the youth of our community. That’s the opportunity that you can take advantage of when you join us Tuesday, September 12th, at Stonehenge Golf Course for the 16th annual Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club Golf Outing. With our community’s generosity, we have raised over $130,000 to support programs for our local youth through our annual golf outing.
This year’s event promises to be another great one. Starting with the exceptional location, Stonehenge Golf Course, a championship golf course steeped in tradition, set in beautiful Winona Lake, Indiana. Registration starts at 11:00am and you will enjoy a lunch prepared by Sodexo that they’ll cook on site! A shot gun start will get the outing kicked off at 1:00pm. Prizes will include our hole-in-one sponsors, who have provided the opportunity to win: a vehicle provided by 24/7 Cars; an ATV by Loose Moose Motorsports; and a golf cart by Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts! We also have a free night at the Bradley Hotel in Fort Wayne for the longest drive and longest putt! Prizes will also be given to the winning team and the team with the highest score, and many other prizes!
Again this year we will have a very special “bourbon basket” raffle. The basket contains a custom designed Charcuterie Board, (made by Phil Jenks); a Badash Crystal decanter with four Retro Pattern cocktail glasses from Warsaw Cut Glass; a 750ml bottle of Bulleit Bourbon, Aged 10 years; a 750ml bottle of Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon; and a 750ml bottle of Weller Special Reserve Wheated Bourbon. This basket is valued at over $700 and will be raffled off on the day of the event. Tickets sell for $20 each or 6 for $100, and can be purchased in advance from a Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club member or on the day of the event at Stonehenge.
We are also raffling a professional photo shoot with Jamie Plack Photography. A great package offering for updating your family photos. Tickets for the photo shoot also sell for $20 each or 6 for $100 and can be purchased in advance from a Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club member or on the day of the event at Stonehenge.
Reserve your team’s spot today in the golf outing by going to the webpage www.warsawoptimist.org, under the Fundraisers button, for more information and the sign-up brochure. Also, if you would like to donate prizes to the event, or be a hole sponsor, please contact Todd Davis, this year’s Chairman, at 574/933-4613. We hope to see you all Tuesday, September 12th.
