Fred O. Godshalk, 81, Warsaw, died at 6:39 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital of Warsaw.
Fred was born July 4, 1942, in Goshen, to Elizabeth Louise Hoffer Godshalk and Ralph Simon Godshalk. He enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served until his honorable discharge at the rank of sergeant.
He married Janet Ann Morrison on March 30, 1974.
Fried’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service at noon Friday, Aug. 18 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Wanda Carter. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military rites conducted by members of the American Legion Post 223 of Syracuse and active-duty members of the Army Honor Guard. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 10 a.m. to noon.
Memorial contributions can be made in Fred’s memory to the K-21 Health Foundation, 1101 Park Ave., Winona Lake, IN 46590, in memo line note to go toward the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund.
