Right to Life of North Central Indiana’s annual Legacy of Life banquet is scheduled for Sept. 18 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capitol Center on the campus of Grace College, Winona Lake.
The event’s keynote speaker is Ashley Bratcher. Bratcher is most recognized for her starring role in the box office hit “Unplanned,” the true story that chronicles the transformation of a Planned Parenthood clinic director to pro-life advocate, according to a news release from Right to Life.
Bratcher was born and raised in a small southern town in eastern North Carolina and began her acting career on the stage at the age of 16. She later attended Campbell University, where she graduated with honors, and then worked briefly as a middle school teacher before finding success as a working actress. Bratcher's commitment to stories of hope has garnered her recognition as a name talent in uplifting and redemptive films, the news release states. Bratcher will share her experiences related to the movie as well as her personal connection with abortion.
The evening will include emcee, WOWO Radio’s Pat Miller and an update on pro-life efforts in North Central Indiana.
Executive Director Dave Koontz said, “With over 600 guests expected, this will be a great opportunity for the pro-life community across North Central Indiana to come together to celebrate the pro-life gains experienced over the past year.

"The banquet also is an opportunity to raise the funds that will be used throughout the year to encourage the protection of all human life.”
