Mad Anthony’s Lake City Tap House, 113 E. Center St., Warsaw, celebrated its recent remodeling with a ribbon-cutting Tuesday, held by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.

Mad Anthony’s was closed for 10 days between Feb. 4 and 14, said General Manager Jim Thompson.

The renovations include new carpet, new paint, renovating the bar and replacing the tabletops and all the booths. Plans to replace the windows on the side of Mad Anthony’s by the alley are still in process. The windows up there now are probably as old as the building, which was formerly the Eagles building and Senger’s department store.

The banquet room’s remodel includes carpet, paint, more lighting and a new audiovisual system.

Thompson said it has been several years since Mad Anthony’s had been refreshed, so it was due.

Mad Anthony’s also held an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Customer reaction to the renovations so far have been positive, he said. They have seemed pretty pleased with the remodel.
