Tippecanoe Valley has been alerted by the Three Rivers Conference that it has been voted out of the conference effective at the end of the 2022-23 school year, according to an email sent by the TRC Monday.

Tippecanoe Valley had previously announced its intentions to leave the TRC at the beginning of the 2024 school year to become a founding member of a new six-team conference with Bremen, Jimtown, John Glenn, Knox and LaVille.

Upon receiving notice of Valley’s intention to depart, the conference gave the school thee options:

1. Finish two years, the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years, as members of the TRC.

2. Leave for the 2024-25 school year and pay each remaining TRC school $1,000 by May 5, 2023.

3. Decide to not choose either option one or two and be voted out effective at the end of the 2022-23 school year.

Tippecanoe Valley sent a response last Friday, indicating it would be standing firm on its decision to leave. Valley has been a member of the Three Rivers Conference since its inception in 1974.
