Born in Warsaw on July 23, 1964, Sheila was the daughter of Cleo Bradley and Opal Conley. She attended school in the Prestonsburg, Ky., area where she lived for several years of her young adult life.
Sheila was a mother and grandmother first and foremost; she loved her family dearly was a proud supporter of each of them. She is remembered for her southern cooking but also for teaching her children and grandchildren how to cook and bake. She enjoyed TV shows like “Cake Wars” but also classic cartoons and sitcoms. She liked flowers of all kinds and kept beautiful flower gardens around the home with her husband. She loved butterflies, crafting and finding a good deal while shopping - she even owned and operated, with the help of her family, a traveling ReSale booth which they called "Crowes Nest."
Married to Steven D. Crowe, the pair shared more than 32 years together; Steven survives at home in Leesburg. Also surviving with memories to cherish are two daughters, Amanda (Jason) Mullins, of Lucerne; and April (James) Williamson, of Leesburg; son, Steven D. Crowe Jr., of Warsaw; grandchildren: Kylee Staton, Ashley Brown, Aiden Willamson, Tanner Mullins, Jesse Williamson, Dominick Mullins and Audrey Mullins; and siblings, Renae (Jay) McCartney, of Warsaw; and Tammy Miller, of Nappanee. She was preceded in passing by two sisters, Arvella Lynch and Vickie Marchand; and by her parents.
Friends may gather at Water of Life Church, 401 E. Main St., Silver Lake, beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 20. A funeral which celebrates Sheila's life will be held in the Church on Friday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
