Symphony Of The Lakes To Present Spring Concert April 22

WINONA LAKE - The Symphony of the Lakes will present their annual spring concert on April 22 on the campus of Grace College.  

Once upon a time ... that's how all the great stories start, and the Wagon Wheel's Symphony of the Lakes will transport you across 100 years of timeless storytelling through their spring concert - 100 Years of Magic!, according to a news release from the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts. The Symphony will perform some of the most iconic music associated with Disney movies over the years.  The symphony will be led by Jason Thompson, conductor.

The concert will take place at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center on the college of Grace College & Seminary in Winona Lale. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.  Seating is general admission. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

This concert is sure to delight audiences of all ages, the news release states. Become a part of the magic by dressing up as your favorite character for the concert.

Kathleen N. Anderson-Takacs, 84, of Pierceton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. Kathy was born on Aug. 14, 1940, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Darwin and Jane Gibson. On April 17, 2004, she married Bill Takacs in Gatlinburg, Tenn., who survives.
