The ceremonial first turning of the sod officially kicked off the project, which includes a new auditorium, agriculture classrooms and labs, wrestling/multi-purpose spaces, student collaboration areas and locker rooms. The renovation also includes pool renovations with expanded spectator seating, according to a news release from TVSC.
Prior to the approval of the building project, TVSC held community stakeholder meetings for input and to learn of the future vision for the TVHS campus, according to a news release provided by TVSC. Representatives from Fanning Howey Associates and Baker Tilly were on hand during the community stakeholder meetings to provide details of the architectural planning and financing for this tax-neutral project, the release states.
