Tippecanoe Valley Officially Joining New Conference

News became official Wednesday morning that Tippecanoe Valley will be a founding member of a new conference. LaVille Athletics issued a press release formally announcing its departure of the Hoosier North Athletic Conference as well as its partnership in forming a yet-to-be-named conference with Tippecanoe Valley, Bremen, John Glenn, Jimtown and Knox.

The current plan is for the conference to take full effect at the start of the 2024-25 school year. Further details regarding the conference are being developed and will be announced as they become more concrete, per the release.

Baseball

Triton at Westville


A strong final inning earned Westville a walk-off win over Triton Tuesday night, as the Trojans fell 8-7 and are 0-1 to start the year.

Jacob Pitney had two base hits, driving in a run and scoring twice. Zak Greer hit a 2-RBI double and scored a run. Drew Bingamon gave up two earned runs in five innings of work, striking out nine in the process.

The Trojans play their next game Thursday at Oregon-Davis.

Softball

Triton at Rochester


Triton dropped a tough game Tuesday night, falling 12-0 to Rochester on the road. The Trojans are now 0-2.

Shade Trent had two of Triton’s four hits, totaling three bases. The Trojans are back in action Thursday at John Glenn.
