Engage Kosciusko Digital Passports Continue In 2023 With Additional Prizes

By Staff Report-

The Engage Kosciusko Digital Passport Program is continuing this year with six digital passports.

These passports are free and easy to sign up for on the Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau (KCCVB) website.

The passports are divided into two different categories, Challenge Passports and Sip & Savor Passports. Each of the Sip & Savor Passports will have a drawing for $100 in Kosciusko Cash for pass holders who have completed any of the passports. For the Challenge Passports, passholders only need to visit five locations on any of the passports to win a prize.

The Sip & Savor Passports include the Taco Trail, Sipping Trail and Breakfast Trail. These three passports also include exclusive discounts at some participating businesses. Drawings for the $100 in Kosciusko Cash for each passport will take place one year after passport launch, giving passholders a full year to complete the passports for drawing entry.

The Challenge Passports include the Public Art Trail Challenge, Trailblazer Challenge and Adventure Challenge. Prizes include a metal water bottle and fidget spinner for the Trailblazer Challenge, Kosciusko County T-shirt (various sizes, colors and variations available) for the Adventure Challenge, and All Things Art sunglasses at five locations and entry to win $100 to the Village at Winona upon trail completion for the Public Art Trail Challenge. Passholders only need to visit five locations on each passport to win a prize.

KCCVB launched the first three passports in March 2022, and built out the other three over the last year in partnership with a company named Bandwango. The program was designed to provide visitors with a tool to discover the area and give residents a way to be tourists in their hometown. Since the start of the program, there have been 1,380 sign-ups total.

“We are excited to continue the passport program another year with these additional prizes. We want to offer visitors a fun way to engage with our communities and offer residents a way to be tourists in their hometown while earning prizes and receiving discounts at area businesses,” Laura Rothhaar, marketing and communications manager at KCCVB, said.

Sign up for these passports at visitkosciuskocounty.org/engage. For more information, contact KCCVB by emailing [email protected], calling 574-269-6090 or visiting the Visitor Center in Warsaw.
