Ricky Scott Sitts, 60, of Burket, passed away on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at his residence.

Ricky was born on Dec. 26, 1961, in Warsaw, to the late Frank and Lois Rusmisel Sitts. He was a 1980 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. He furthered his education at Purdue University. He attained an associate’s degree in electronic engineering.

He retired in March of 2022 from the former RR Donnelley, now LSC Communications. Ricky enjoyed music and played the guitar. He played in the Midwest Express and Lethal Force with his brothers and cousin.

He is survived by his children: Matt Sitts, of Mentone; and Rachel Sitts, of Kokomo; grandchildren: Ezekiel, Julius and Vivian; siblings: Janice (John) Moore, Wendell (Joyce) Randall, Dianne Noel, Linda Wideman, Michael (Ramona) Randall, Martin Randall, Doris (Denny) Thompson and Eileen (Max) Isley; and several nieces and nephews.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters: Karen Moon and Lois Utter.

Memorial visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at King Memorial, Home 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the funeral home.

The arrangements are entrusted to King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone.
