By Staff Report-

Full Gospel House of Praise, along with Purple Tent of Hope Ministries, announced the third annual Dawn to Dusk “Jesus is my HOPE Jam,” a free community event providing HOPE through 14 hours of singing, recovery testimonies, prayer, praise and proclamation.

The event will take place by Pike Lake at Beyer Park, 811 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, according to a provided news release. Attendees are welcome to come and go as often as they would like.

This event includes live praise and worship led by several surrounding area Christian artists. Currently scheduled are, from Warsaw: Full Gospel House of Praise and several from God’s Highway to Heaven Church: Crace Family, Dakota Bouse, Andy Heeter, and Pastors Bob and Tanya Brown with daughter Becky; from Rochester: Safe Harbor Church Worship Team; from Argos: Chad and Melissa Wright; from Plymouth: Purple Tent Band of HOPE; and from Claypool: Early Apostolic Bible Training Center (EABTC).

Kevin Mast, author of “Poems for Encouragement, Words for the Heart” will be sharing poems and lead a time of worship.

There will also be several addiction recovery testimonies throughout the day, including Angel Bryant who is the founder of Stronger than Addiction in Elkhart, The Remnant Ministries of Huntington, Exodus Ministries of Warsaw and more.

A free carry-in dinner (bring a dish if you can) will also be provided during the event.

Full Gospel House of Praise will have church service at the park, starting at 7 p.m. Pastors Buddy and April Bradley from Word of Life Outreach, Kendallville, will be ministering in a “tag team” style with Pastor Rocky Addair and Serena Case.  All are welcome to stay and “have church.”

The “Purple Tent of Hope” will be available all day for anyone who would like to get prayer or needs to talk to someone without judgement, stated the release. Prayer requests can also be discreetly deposited in a prayer box. A resource “HOPE” table will also be set up with free Bibles, bracelets, stickers and other materials to help with hurts, habits and hang-ups. Free drinks will be available.

Serena Case, founder of the Purple Tent of HOPE Ministries, said, “This event is all about bringing HOPE to the multitude in Warsaw who may feel hopeless right now. Our hope is that many will come and ‘rest awhile’ in a place of outdoor worship and uplift. We live in troubling times, but Jesus gives us hope even in the darkest situations. In fact, many of the people who will be sharing in song and testimony were once broken people who once suffered with depression, addiction, rejection, despair and many other hurts, habits and hang-ups and felt they had no HOPE. It is a wonderful testimony of how lives can be transformed through the hope found in Jesus.”
