Atwood Otterbein United Methodist Church's missions committee donated $1,000 to All Things New, the local sober living center for women. Missions committee chair Genyce DiRico (L) made the presentation recently to Bill Fawley (R), director of the facility. Fawley had presented information about their facility at one of the church's United Women in Faith meetings. All Things New provides hope, a fresh start and freedom for women struggling with various addictions by providing a safe environment and the necessary skills to destroy old habits while fostering dependency on Jesus Christ who makes all things new, according to a news release from the church. Otterbein UMC is located at 306 E. Main St., Atwood, and provides fellowship and financial support for organizations aiding those in need in the area. Sunday morning service begins at 9:30 a.m. and all are welcome. More information about the church and its services can be received by calling 574-858-2291.
