• 6:44 p.m. Sunday - David Melendez, 28, of 1202 Wooster Road, lot 150, Winona Lake, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. No bond set.

• 7:53 p.m. Sunday - Blake O. Shortill, 65, of 4571 E. Shady Lane, Syracuse, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $600.

• 7:56 p.m. Sunday - Harrison Tucker Shortill, 25, of 4571 E. Shady Lane, Syracuse, arrested for misdemeanor battery. Bond: $600.

• 9:41 p.m. Sunday - Michael R. Davis, 75, of 313 S. Washington St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 11:18 p.m. Sunday - Jerry Martan Hall, 45, of 1219 Bibler Ave., Winona Ave., Winona Lake, arrested for domestic battery with moderate bodily injury. Bond: $6,000.

• 10:57 a.m. Monday - Melissa Ann Johnson, 43, Goshen, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond set.

• 10:58 a.m. Monday - Matthew John Milton, 36, of 552 W. Walnut St., Nappanee, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.

• 11:06 a.m. Monday - Corey Raymone Henderson, 41, South Bend, arrested for felony failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.

Injury: Bonewitz had a fracture dislocation to his shoulder/upper arm. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 7:43 p.m. Sunday - Intersection of U.S. 30 and East Old 30, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Ocxiel Sanchez, 26, East Joshua Drive, Warsaw; Melanie L. Toombs, 46, Ossian. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Boys basketball season returned to the Hardwood Teepee Tuesday night as Wawasee tipped off the season for area teams by hosting rival Fairfield.
