Warsaw at Fort Wayne Northrop
Warsaw girls soccer will move on to the semifinals of IHSAA 3A Sectional 7 after defeating the host school Fort Wayne Northrop 4-2 on Tuesday. The Tigers are now 12-4-2 this season.
Freshman Lola Pepper was the difference in the match, scoring three goals for Warsaw. Abbi Kohler also added a goal for the Tigers. Rylee Burns assisted on two scores. Warsaw will take on Columbia City Thursday night with a spot in the sectional championship on the line.
Wawasee at NorthWood
Wawasee girls soccer had its season ended by host school NorthWood in the opening round of IHSAA 2A Sectional 20 Tuesday, falling 5-0. The Lady Warriors end the season with a record of 1-13-3. The team will return next season.
Volleyball
Rochester at Tippecanoe Valley
Tippecanoe Valley volleyball won its fourth game in a row Tuesday, defeating Rochester 3-1 (12-25, 25-20, 27-25, 25-23) at home. The Lady Vikings are now 13-12 this fall, 3-5 in the Three Rivers Conference. The team will wrap up regular season play with a road game at Southwood Thursday.
Caston at Triton
Triton dropped its fourth game in a row Tuesday, falling 3-2 (25-18, 25-18, 15-25, 15-25, 14-16) at home to Caston. The Trojans are now 16-13, 5-2 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
Addyson Viers led Triton with 25 kills. Avery Viers came up big on defense with six blocks. Kinsey Atkins had 41 digs and Hannah Snyder finished with 38 aces. The Trojans finish off regular season action with a home game against South Central.
West Noble at Wawasee
Wawasee won its third contest in as many tries Tuesday, picking up a solid 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-15) victory at home over West Noble. The Lady Warriors are now 19-11 this season and will play their final regular season game at NorthWood Thursday.
Wabash at Manchester
Manchester dropped its final home game of the season Tuesday, falling 3-0 (11-25, 19-25, 23-25) in a conference clash with Wabash. The Lady Squires are now 9-15 and finish TRC play with a 3-6 record.
Paxton Baker had 18 digs to lead the team. Manchester’s final regular season game is a nonconference match up with Blackhawk Christian.
