Margaret L. “Peggy” Anderson, 87, of Warsaw, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital.

Peggy was born in Warsaw on Dec. 1, 1934, the daughter of the late Marshall and Marjorie May Griswold.

She graduated from Warsaw High School with the Class of ’52. Peggy enjoyed her work in the apparel department at Walmart, having just recently retired after 32 years with the company. She was a lifelong member of Warsaw First Brethren Church and an avid fan of Warsaw Tigers basketball. Peggy loved the outdoors, tending to her yard and gardening, or just relaxing on the porch and people-watching. She also enjoyed reading and the challenge of a good crossword.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Jo Lynn (Rick) Mylin, of Warsaw; her son, Michael (Stacey) Anderson, of Warsaw; grandchildren: Kyler Mylin, of Warsaw; Tayler (Ethan) Brown, of Fort Wayne; Logan (JoHannah Greene) Anderson, of Fort Wayne; Brad (Kaylynn) Anderson, of Warsaw; and Shelby (Patrick) Easter, of Warsaw; her sister-in-law, Ruth (Van Cleave) Griswold, of Warsaw; and a host of nieces and great-nieces and -nephews. In addition to her parents, Peggy was also preceded in death by her brother, Junior Griswold.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Visitation is Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
