First U.S. 30 Public Meeting Listening Session Planned For Dec. 6

The first of four U.S. 30 public meeting listening sessions will take place Dec. 6 in the Lincoln Elementary School auditorium, 203 N. Lincoln Street, Warsaw, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a presentation tentatively scheduled for 6 p.m.

The purpose of this listening session is to take suggestions from residents and business owners on their future vision of U.S. 30, considering the improvements and the impact of the improvements on the community, according to a news release provided by the city.  

Four public information meetings are tentatively planned. They will occur at six-month intervals. The Dec. 6 meeting will be for introduction of the process. Future meeting topics will include the purpose and need analysis reveal, alternatives reveal and the final report discussion.

These meetings are critical to the process, the release states. Residents and business owners are encouraged to visit Propelus30.com where they can sign up for email notification updates. Eventually, residents and business owners will also be able to leave comments about the project on this website.
