On Monday, officers were initially dispatched to the Kosciusko County Justice Building regarding a reported stabbing, according to a news release from the Warsaw Police Department. As officers were en route, it was determined that the stabbing actually occurred at McDonald’s, 315 N. Detroit St., Warsaw.

The victim had driven himself to the Justice Building to find help. Court security was able to assist from that aspect as officers began searching the area for the suspect. The victim was transported to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne and the extent of his injuries were unknown as of Monday afternoon.
