WINONA LAKE - A high-profile slate of NAIA basketball matchups are coming to Grace next week.

The Lancers' men's basketball team is hosting the inaugural Crossroads /Cascade Classic at Grace's Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center on Nov. 11-12.

The classic features four top-tier teams within the Crossroads League and the Cascade Collegiate Conference. No. 8 Grace and Bethel will represent the Crossroads League, and No. 22 Oregon Tech and Bushnell will compete from the CCC.

Friday will feature two games, including Bethel versus Bushnell at 5 p.m. as well as Grace against Oregon Tech at 7 p.m.

Saturday will also have two games to conclude the classic, including Bethel and Oregon Tech at 3 p.m. and Grace versus Bushnell at 5 p.m.

The four programs have combined for 54 NAIA tournament appearances, 89 national tournament wins, 44 conference championships and 7 NAIA national titles.

The elite programs and historic matchups will make this one of the marquee nonconference settings of the NAIA season. Grace will host the inaugural series next week, and Oregon Tech will host the tourney in November 2023.

This year, Grace will also host a private banquet for the four teams on Thursday evening on Grace's campus.

"We could not be more excited to host the first year of the Crossroads/Cascade Classic! To have four teams of this caliber play in an early-season classic is pretty special," said Grace head coach Scott Moore. "Many teams don't get to experience this kind of cross-country travel as well, so that will be a great experience for all four of our programs over the next two years. I'm excited to begin this tournament; it's going to be a lot of fun for fans and players alike."
