Echoes Of The Past Tractor Show & Swap June 3-4

MENTONE - Echoes of the Past will have its annual Mentone Tractor, Engineer, Garden Tractor Show & Swap June 3-4 at the Mentone Airport, 12296 W. CR 600S, Mentone.

“Everything is welcome, which means we do not care what color it is or if it is restored or not, we want to see them all. We welcome farm tractors, garden tractors, implements and old engines (or anything else cool),” according to a flyer provided.

For 2022, the feature area will be for anything prior to 1949.

The tractor show and swap is 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 3 and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 4 and is free admission.

The tractor driving experience is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. both days.

Vendors will be on hand. Vendor spots are $5 per day and should be related to garden tractors, farm tractors, equipment, engineers, tools, farm toys, farm crafts, etc.

Activities will include kids’ activities, pedal pull, blacksmith onsite, tractor dyno. A door prize raffle will be June 4 at 5 p.m. for exhibitors and vendors, and the person must be present to win.

Food will include Echoes of the Past’s homemade ice cream, and Wheels on Fire Cancer Crusaders will be a free-will donation food vendor.

Camping sites are available. With electric and water, it’s $20 per night. Primitive camping is $10 per night. There are 50 spots available. Call Tiffany Adams at 574-376-0347 to secure a spot. No dump station will be available.
