Judy K. Coplen, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Stillwater Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

Judy was the daughter of F. Dean and Martha Decker, of Atwood, born on Aug. 30, 1947. She graduated from Mentone High School and received a degree in computer programming from IUPU Fort Wayne. She spent her career at Lincoln National Life, starting as a programmer and retiring as second vice president.  She was a generous gift giver and enjoyed shopping for that “perfect” gift for family and friends. Surviving are her sisters: Cathy (Paul) Northcutt, of Warsaw; Deanna (Jim) Swain, of Cromwell; and Linda (Doug Westendorf) Doran, of Burket; sister-in-law, Sandy Moriarty; and brother-in-law, Bruce Smith. Judy was also quite close with her nieces and nephews: Zach (Melissa) Smith, Amanda Smith, Alex (Emmy) Owens, Brittany Northcutt and Stephen (Jennifer) Moriarty. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Barb Smith; two brothers-in-law, Craig Doran and Roger Moriarty; and her first husband, Stephen Nelson.

Services are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Warsaw. A celebration of life will be held later - time and place to be announced. Burial will take place privately at Mentone Cemetery.
