By Staff Report-
The choir, directed by Cassandra Petrie, performed at Disney Springs. The orchestra, directed by Angela Dieleman, participated in a soundtrack sessions workshop.
Both events were hosted by the “Disney Imagination Campus: Performing Arts” experience.
Lori Owens, administrative assistant, helped organize the trip through Music Travel Consultants. The tour exemplified the quality arts program at Warsaw Community Schools. In addition to their performance or workshop, students enjoyed the activities in the theme parks.
WCS students in sixth through 12th grade can still register for performing arts classes for next school year.
The public is invited to attend the year-end choir and orchestra concerts this month.
The WCHS Choir Pops Concert is May 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The sixth through 12th orchestra spring concert is May 26 at 7 p.m. Both concerts are held at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center Auditorium and are free of charge.
