WACC Welding Students Compete

Five Warsaw Community High School students made the cross-country trip to Gillette, Wyo., according to a news release from Warsaw Community Schools.
These students were selected in February and were responsible for raising funds for this trip. Collectively, they raised over $5,000 to help fund this trip. A lot of hours after school, and even some Saturdays, were put in to prepare for this trip, and for Carter Hall that work paid off with a second-place finish, stated the release. Hall earned a $10,000 scholarship, a table full of tools, welding gear and a welder.
The student team members are Carter Hall, Layton Cooper, Anthony Taylor, Cadence Gibson and Daxton Prater.
WCS thanks welding instructor Jeremiah Paseka and all who donated to fund this opportunity, stated the release.
