He was born on March 21, 1958, in Warsaw, to Robert L. and Carole Elaine Atchison Nine Sr.
He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident and attended Warsaw Community High School. He retired from RR Donnelly in Warsaw and formerly worked at Keystone Design in Warsaw & Gregory Roofing in Claypool.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Warsaw and V.F.W. Auxiliary in Warsaw.
He is survived by mother, Carol Elaine (Ray Norman) Nine, of Warsaw; sister, Coleen (William) Blair, of Warsaw; three nephews: Tye D. (Angie) Evans, of Spokane, Wash.; Nicky L. Blair, of Warsaw; and Billy Jack (Jessica) Blair, of Warsaw; 12 great-nieces and -nephews; special friend, Jeff (Deb) Keogh.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Christine Ann Simons; and brother, Ray Owen Nine.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May, 14 at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Robert Nine Funeral Fund, c/o Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN 46582.
