Beaver UMC Hold Fusion Fest

AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Java Jacks in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome.  Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.

Registration has begun for VBS at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron:  "Making Waves in the World with Jesus" from June 20-24.  Open to potty-trained 3-year-old to fifth grade.  The church’s youth will be helping again this year.  You must preregister by June 13 at https://form.123formbuilder.com/1350476/form.

On Saturday, Fusion Fest will be at Indiana Wesleyan for senior high kids only.  They will be leaving from Akron United Methodist Church at 10:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On Sunday, service times are 9 and 10:31 a.m. with refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

The sermon is by Pastor Butch Troke. Youth worship at Akron UMC is from 6 to 7:30 p.m.  Bible study is at 6 p.m.

There is no King's Kids or boys Bible study this week due to spring break.



First Christian To Hold

Interactive Good Friday Event

First Christian Church, 115 Park Ridge Drive, Warsaw, will hold Journey to the Cross: An Interactive Good Friday event from 4:30 to 9 p.m. April 14 and 4:30 to 6:30 and 8 to 10 p.m. April 15.

Join the church for an interactive experience walking through the last day of Jesus' life. This museum-style, self-guided tour is designed to help you remember the sacrifice of Christ and prepare your heart to celebrate the Resurrection.

Plan for no less than 20 minutes to go through the journey.



N. Manchester UMC To Hold Dinner

NORTH MANCHESTER – North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E. Second St., North Manchester, will host a baked steak dinner on April 8 from 4 p.m. until sold out.

The dinner will be a drive-through only. The public is invited, and the cost is a freewill donation.



New Beginnings To Hold

Family Fun Night Saturday

New Beginnings Church and World Outreach, 741 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, will hold a free family fun night from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Sloppy Joes, chili, games and fellowship will be available. Everyone is welcome.
