WINONA LAKE - Grace’s women’s basketball team has earned its spot to the 2022 NCCAA National Championships this week.

The Lady Lancers earned the No. 3 seed in the eight-team bracket. Grace (19-14) will play No. 6 Southwestern Christian (18-14) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinals.

Grace was led to 19 wins this season by juniors Maddie Ryman (17.4 points per game) and Karlee Feldman (14.0 ppg, 11.2 rpg). The Lady Lancers are just two wins shy of breaking the program’s single season win record.

The Lady Lancers are making their 13th appearance in 14 years in the NCCAA tournament, and their 14th appearance overall.

If Grace wins on Wednesday, the national semifinals for the Lady Lancers would be on Thursday at 8:45 p.m. against either Asbury or Columbia International. The women’s national championship game will be Saturday at 5 p.m.

Grace College is host to both the men’s and women’s NCCAA tournaments. All 24 games will be held at Grace’s Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center in Winona Lake. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or in advance online at www.gclancers.com/tickets.
