Kent Tea Mishler, 79, of Pierceton, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at his home.

He was born on Dec. 24, 1942, in Goshen, to Raymond and Beatrice Tea Mishler.

He grew up in Nappanee, graduated from New Paris High School and lived most of his life in the Syracuse/Pierceton area. He was married on Nov. 24, 1979, in Syracuse, to Gloria J. Rapp Johnson, who survives. He retired in 2001 from Dana Corporation (formerly Weatherhead) in Syracuse and formerly worked at Vega Corp in Syracuse.

He was a member of the Stones Trace Regulators Club in Ligonier and Eagles Lodge in Syracuse.

He is survived by wife, Gloria Mishler, of Pierceton; daughter, Heather (Kelly) Lackey, of Warsaw; son, Franklin (Jami) Mishler, of Pierceton; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard (Donna) Mishler, of St. Cloud, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jennifer Mishler; brother, Chad Mishler; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Mishler.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. Private family services will be held at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to the Stones Trace Regulators, P.O. Box 422, Cromwell, IN 46532.
