Warsaw Community Schools Announces Speech Team Advances to State

Jessica Pogue, Poetry and Humor; Kylee Anders, Drama and Prose; Reagan Polk, Original Performance; Jason Benyousky, Programmed Oral Interp; Keely Roe, Impromptu and United States Extemp; Adaline Anders, Broadcasting; Grace Ganser, Broadcasting and Duo; Var Bobba, Duo; Kylah Cook, Poetry; Michael Webster, Discussion; Griffin Ro,- International Extemp. Amelia Anders nearly missed getting into the finals but did a great job competing as a freshman.
On top of the state competition, Warsaw was able to qualify four students to the NSDA (National Speech and Debate Association) National tournament in Louisville, Ky. Those students are as follows: Senior Kylee Anders qualified in drama, senior Jessica Pogue qualified in humor, junior Jason Pogue qualified in Programmed Oral Interp, and junior Keely Roe qualified in United States Extemp.
Three students were also named members of the All District Team: Kylee Anders, Jessica Pogue and Jason Benyousky.
