Medical Marijuana To Be Topic At Jobs Tour

NAPPANEE - Indiana state Rep. Maureen Bauer (6th District) will speak at the March 5 Jobs Tour event in Nappanee on the economic and health benefits of legalizing medical marijuana.  

The event begins at 3 p.m.  

Other statewide and local speakers at the event will discuss economic benefits that have flowed to Hoosier families from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the American Rescue Plan, according to a news release provided. Speakers include Destiny Wells, Democratic candidate for Indiana secretary of state; Thomas McDermott Jr., currently mayor of Hammond and Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate; and Aaron Mishler, 1st District Elkhart City councilman.

This open-to-the-public event for residents of Elkhart, Kosciusko and Marshall counties will be held at 159 E. Lincoln St., Nappanee. Free parking is available in the adjacent municipal parking lot.
