Davidson Named League Player Of The Week For Fourth Time

WINONA LAKE - For the fourth time this season, Frankie Davidson of Grace’s men’s basketball team was named the Crossroads League Player of the Week.

Davidson took home the honor on Monday. He led Grace to a pair of road wins in the Crossroads League Tournament.

Grace defeated Mt. Vernon Nazarene 82-62 and No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan 84-76 to reach the tournament championship. Davidson scored 24.5 points per game while shooting 62 percent shooting and 42 percent on 3-pointers.

He led all players with 21 points in the semifinal upset of No. 7 IWU. Davidson also added 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for the week.

Additionally, he recorded the 1,000th point of his collegiate career during the IWU victory. He is the 54th member of Grace’s 1,000-point club.

The Lancers will play for the CL tournament championship on Tuesday. The championship at Marian is scheduled for 7 p.m.
