Text of the current Second Amendment:
A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Revised Second Amendment:
A well-regulated and organized volunteer county and state militia open to all country men and women regardless of creed, affiliation, color, etc., being a necessary auxiliary to the state National Guards and the security of a free state and free people during times of foreign invasion, coup d’etats, disasters or insurrection shall be maintained through the Union on domestic soil only.
The right of the people as individuals and citizens in good stand and of sound mind and temperament to lawfully acquire, keep and bear assorted civilian arms in protection of their persons, homes, families and property and to join with others in the pursuit of hunting and marksmanship and the defense of their country when called upon shall not be infringed upon by undue regulations, the repeal of this amendment or the disarmament of the civilian population.
