Kosciusko County Health Department is encouraging parents and guardians to schedule their child(ren)’s routine back-to-school immunizations now.

They are available at the KCHD, K21 Pavilion, 1515 Provident Drive, Suite 160, Warsaw, from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:15 to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Call 574-267-7028 for an appointment.

This immunization clinic provides routine vaccinations for children and teens that are required for school.

Immunization, also called vaccination, is a “highly effective, safe and easy way to help keep your family healthy,” according to a flyer from the KCHD.

Indiana school children going into kindergarten, sixth grade and 12th grade are required to receive age-specific immunizations before school starts this fall.
