Roger D. Hyden, 74, of Warsaw, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

Roger was born in Paintsville, Ky., on July 31, 1947, the son of the late Eugene and Katherine Young Hyden. He married Mazie M. Shepherd Hyden on Feb. 4, 1967; she preceded him in death on July 7, 2007, after 40 years of marriage.

Roger retired from Myer Levin & Sons after 40 years with the company. He enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends and was devoted to his grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and member at Stonehenge Golf Club in Winona Lake and Rozella Ford Golf Club in Warsaw.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Roger was also preceded in death by his daughter, Donette Hyden; brother, Glen Hyden; and sisters: Tina Hyden and Sharon Tucker. He is survived by his daughter, Renee (Juan) Fuentes, of Warsaw; son, Frank “Buddy” (Robyn) Hyden, of Monticello, Ind.; grandchildren: Taylor (Sunshine) Fuentes and Morgen Fuentes, both of Warsaw; sisters: Patty Ann (Danny) Clifton, of Lagro; Christine (Johnnie) Spears, of Wabash; and Charlotte Smith, of Warsaw; brothers: Larry (Suzanne) Hyden, of Mentone; Anthony Hyden, of Warsaw; William (Lydia) Hyden, of South Whitley; and his companion, Patricia Jacobs, of Warsaw.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Visitation is Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery.
