As an owner and co-president of Maple Leaf Farms in Leesburg, I try to participate and stay engaged in our community as part of my appreciation for all the support we have received over the 64 years of our existence. Community support, as demonstrated by dedicated leaders, is critical to the ongoing success of Warsaw and Kosciusko County.
Warsaw has been blessed by a number of dedicated leaders over the years, one of which is former mayor and current County Council member Ernie Wiggins. With his impending retirement from the District 3 Council seat, our county continues to need leadership within that role, meeting the evolving needs and challenges we face. We also need the energy, optimism and belief in our future that exemplifies a leader. I believe we have such a person in Scott Clay.
Scott has a rich family history in Warsaw and Kosciusko County, as multiple generations of his family have contributed and made our community stronger. Currently, as the marketing manager for seven local NAPA Auto Parts stores, Scott has the business acumen and drive to support our county. And as a Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce ambassador, he has gained significant insights into the breadth of businesses and non-profits in our county and how they operate.
I am very confident that Scott Clay will provide the leadership and thoughtfulness that we need supporting our county. I am a proud supporter of Scott and strongly recommend him as your next District 3 County Councilman.
