Richcreek Earns DTE Professional Designation

Richcreek is the engineering/ technology and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) educator at Edgewood Middle School.
This honor is bestowed by a committee of expert peer reviewers who determined that Richcreek had earned one of the highest honors of achievement granted, according to a news release from Warsaw Community Schools.
This honor, known as the Distinguished Technology and Engineering Professional (DTE) designation, is based upon documented evidence of leadership/management skills, continuing participation in association education programs and demonstration of leadership in association, community and personal activities. The DTE professional program acknowledges the essential principles of adult learning and incorporates both recognition and credit for the work experiences and accomplishments earned. This honor is a mark of distinction that is reflective of Richcreek's success as an engineering/ technology and PLTW educator at Edgewood Middle School.
Richcreek will receive her recognition at the Teacher Excellence General Session of the ITEEA conference in Orlando, Fla., on March 11.
