• 7:50 p.m. Thursday - Robyn Garcia, 22, Grabill, arrested for child exploitation. Bond: $20,250.

• 7:50 p.m. Thursday - Kyle Thomas Michaelson, 31, of 4996 S. CR 900W, Mentone, arrested for nonsupport of a dependant/child violations. Bond: $5,000.

• 1:33 a.m. Friday - Amanda Nadene Perkins, 32, of 1470 E. CR 550S, Warsaw, arrested for manufacturing/dealing methamphetamine. Bond: $25,250.

• 1:48 a.m. Friday - Collin Anthony Bonewitz, 20, of 9729 N. CR 200W, North Manchester, arrested for leaving the scene of a crash with property damage. Bond: $500.

• 3:36 a.m. Friday - Austin Michael Sherburne, 21, of 804 N. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond listed.

• 10:27 a.m. Friday - Antoine Tony Phillips, 61, of 1748 S. Blue Spruce Road, Warsaw, arrested for possession of paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish with a prior. No bond set.

• 3:29 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of U.S. 30 and East Center Street, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Lilyana A. Joyner, 18, Culver; Justin R. Yoder, 24, Fort Wayne. Damage: Under $750. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 6:45 p.m. Thursday - North CR 700W, 1,000 feet north of West CR 100N, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Bryce J. Madeford, 20, South Virgil, Akron. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 11:05 a.m. Thursday - A person was arrested for resisting a law enforcement officer - using a vehicle in the 7900 block of West CR 800N, Nappanee. KCSO.

• 2:17 p.m. Thursday - A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 700 block of Pierceton Road, Winona Lake. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 4:04 p.m. Thursday - A person was arrested for battery against a public safety official engaged in official business and resisting law enforcement in the 2100 block of Dubois Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:04 p.m. Thursday - A warrant was served in the 800 block of North CR 950W, Etna Green. KCSO.

• 7:54 p.m. Thursday - A person was arrested for possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug in the 3900 block of South CR 950W, Mentone. KCSO.

• 10:11 p.m. Thursday - A threat of suicide was reported in the 2200 block of Kuder Lane, Warsaw. WPD.

• 10:48 p.m. Thursday - A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 2200 block of East Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:54 a.m. Friday - An emergency detention transport was requested in the 1300 block of Mariners Drive, Warsaw. KCSO.

• 6:33 a.m. Friday - A death investigation was opened in the 100 block of Fawley Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Get To Know The Team: Warsaw Captains Q&A
Earlier this week, I had the privilege of going to a Warsaw football practice and speaking with four of the team’s five captains. With so much having been written in recent weeks about their performance on the field, and rightfully so, I wanted to peel back the curtain a bit and ask them some questions about themselves.
