On Wednesday, Harrison Elementary held a 12-round spelling bee. Twenty-eight students participated in the challenge. The top two winners are pictured here with the Principal Matt Deeds. Sauparno Saha, fifth grade, in Mrs. Templin’s class came in first place. Addison Flores Ramirez, sixth grade, in Mr. Graney’s class came in as runner-up. The final winning word was “contraption.” Pictured (L to R) are Flores, Deeds and Saha.
