• 2:40 p.m. Monday - Lance Ronnie Boswell Jr., 37, of 105 E. North St., Silver Lake, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a  vehicle with a controlled substance in body with a prior. No bond set.

• 3:43 p.m. Monday - Michael Lee Flory, 49, of 709 N. Park Ave., Warsaw, arrested for felony probation violation. Bond: $15,250.

• 5:32 p.m. Monday - Michael Valenziano Binstock, 60, Columbia City, arrested for felony failure to appear, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish, possession of paraphernalia, making a false identity statement and manufacturing/dealing methamphetamine. No bond set.

• 8:18 p.m. Monday - Gage Louis Trowbridge, 28, of 902 N. Huntington St., Syracuse, arrested for driving while suspended with a prior and on a foreign warrant. No bond set.

• 10:49 p.m. Monday - Billy Junior Kautz, 27, of 701 W. Randolph St., Nappanee, arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Bond: $5,250.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
