WINONA LAKE - Frankie Davidson of Grace’s men’s basketball team earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.

Davidson is leading Grace in scoring with 18.9 points per game.

The College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) honors student-athletes for both academic and athletic achievements. Davidson was voted to the NAIA District 2 Team, which includes NAIA institutions from Indiana, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

The Lancers, who are receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 poll, can clinch a home game in the Crossroads League Tournament quarterfinals with a win on Saturday. Grace ends the regular season at home against Huntington on Saturday at 3 p.m.

 Maddie Ryman of Grace’s women’s basketball team was also selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.

Ryman has blossomed as Grace’s leading scorer this year. She has 464 points this year, leading the Crossroads League with an average of 17.8 points per game.

Grace is enjoying an impressive regular season, posting a record of 18-11 to date. Grace has tied the record for most wins in a regular season and can break the record with a victory on Saturday

The Lady Lancers will end the regular season at home against Huntington at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
