• 3:10 p.m. Thursday - Cheyenne Pauline Miller, 30, of 3699 N. CR 175E, #67, Warsaw, arrested for criminal mischief and misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.

• 3:28 p.m. Thursday - Caleb Stephen Cromer, 32, of 4452 N. Maple Way, Leesburg, arrested on two charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. No bond set.

• 5:40 p.m. Thursday - Tony Jordan Yowell, 24, Goshen, arrested for theft of a vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, reckless driving, obstruction of justice, resisting a law enforcement officer - fleeing on foot, unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, resisting a law enforcement officer - using a vehicle and felon in possession of a firearm. No bond set.

• 9:28 p.m. Thursday - Joseph P. Anglin, 38, of 306 N. Sycamore St., North Manchester, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 1:28 p.m. Friday - Jacob Ross Suber, 26, of 418 S. Washington St., Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.

• 4:11 a.m. Thursday - Intersection of Kings Highway and School Street, Winona Lake. Car hit landscaping rocks and rolled over, coming to rest on its top. Driver: Michael J. Peterson, 64, Roy Street, Winona Lake. Injury: Peterson was pronounced dead at the scene. Damage: Under $1,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 4:14 a.m. Thursday - South Ind. 15, 20 feet north of West CR 950S, Silver Lake. Pickup went into ditch. Driver: Alexander J. Jordan, 20, North Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Injury: Jordan complained of pain to the entire body. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSO.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
