• 7:03 p.m. Wednesday - William Mitchell Austin, 47, homeless, arrested for misdemeanor probation violation. No bond set.

• 8:16 p.m. Wednesday - Brandon Robert Chambers, 27, of 1520 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior. Bond: $5,250.

• 10:16 p.m. Wednesday - Ridley Lee Brown, 42, of 502 Oldfather St., Warsaw, arrested on a foreign warrant. No bond listed.

• 3:21 a.m. Thursday - Kyles S. Hood Jr., 24, of 2119 E. Hendricks St., Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and possession of paraphernalia. No bond set.

Hatfield, 80, South CR 700W, Mentone; Rose M. Wilcox, 66, North Bobber Lane, Warsaw. Injury: Hatfield complained of pain to the face. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 4:14 a.m. Thursday - South Ind. 15, 20 feet north of West CR 950S, Silver Lake. Pickup went into ditch. Driver: Alexander J. Jordan, 20, North Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Injury: Jordan complained of pain to the entire body. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
