• 10:25 a.m. Friday - Javier Emilio Iraheta Jr., 24, of 225 S. Union Drive, Winona Lake, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16. Bond: $5,250.

• 2:03 p.m. Friday - Jesse Ryan Fugate, 40, of 7681 W. Swick Road, Claypool, arrested for credit card fraud and theft. No bond set.

• 7:07 p.m. Thursday - 2211 E. Center St., Warsaw. Two-pickup collision. Drivers: Shalin S. Baddela, 20, Jerseyville, Ill.; Timothy J. Veit, 43, Fairland Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 8:16 p.m. Thursday - East CR 1400N, 100 feet east of North Warner Road, Syracuse. SUV went into ditch. Driver: Bonnie C. Hoff, 49, Howe. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 5:59 p.m. Thursday - Domestic battery - simple assault was reported in the 10900 block of North Eagle Place, Syracuse. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 8:03 p.m. Thursday - A vehicle was reported found in the 9800 block of East King Arthur Trail, Cromwell. KCSO.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
