BOURBON – Patricia Jean “Patty” Bauer passed away on Dec. 15, 2022, at Pilgrim Manor in Plymouth.  

Patty was born to Roland and Bertha Winger Wagoner on Oct. 5, 1938, and was raised in Bourbon. She worked in the travel industry for many years and lived in Germany, California, Indianapolis, San Diego and Florida before retiring to Plymouth. She loved animals, was an avid reader, music lover and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a proficient roller skater in her youth, and as a grandmother she was an enthusiastic supporter at skating, band and drumline events. She loved travelling and was never happier than when she visited her many friends in Grand Cayman, her favorite vacation destination.  

Patty was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Tom and Bill Wagoner; and her son, David B Bauer.  

Patty is survived by her sons, Brent A. Bauer, of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Rodney V. (Cindy) Bauer II, of Indianapolis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Barbara Brunk; and Joann Wagoner, of Plymouth; and Margaret Heckley, of Indianapolis.

Private services for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
