• 9:58 p.m. Wednesday - James David Byrd, 46, of 205 E. Carroll St., Syracuse, arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. No bond set.

• 3:13 p.m. Wednesday - Intersection of U.S. 30 and Springhill Drive, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Elizabeth A. Hall, 67, South CR 600W, Mentone; Brittany N. Blackburn, 36, EMS C29A Lane, Warsaw. Injuries: Hall complained of chest pain; a passenger in Hall’s vehicle, Alicia Hall, 60, West Old 30, Warsaw, complained of chest pain. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 1:53 a.m. Thursday - East CR 250N, 10 feet east of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Car hit utility pole, went through agricultural field and overturned and came to rest on its wheels. Driver: Damien W. Petersen, 32, South Detroit Street, Warsaw. Injury: Peterson complained of back pain Damage: $25,000-$50,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
