Max E. Goshert, 93, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully at Meadow Lakes in Mooresville on Aug. 16, 2022.

Max was born in Warsaw to the late Melvin and Mamie Goshert on Aug. 5, 1929. Max retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 35 years of service. Max worked as a machinist at Tube Processing of Indianapolis for over 10 years. He loved to travel the world and had visited over 31 countries, loved to cruise and return home with all different kinds of trinkets! He had one regret during the journey through his travels: That was that he had not made it to Australia. Max was a volunteer with the Red Cross for over 25 years, spending most of his time in Morgan County, although he did spend some time away while taking on disaster assignments in places such as, California, Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia and Puerto Rico.

Max is survived by his grandchildren: Brian (Heather) Goshert and Hailey Goshert; along with Julia Watson, the mother of his three children.
