Jerry Millington, 84, lifelong resident of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly at Lutheran Hospital on Aug. 2, 2022.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Glenda Egner Millington; children: Debbie Marburger (Doug), Carolyn Neff (Richard) and Roger Millington (Heather); grandchildren: Shannon Hurd, Heather Caudill, Fayth Silveus, Stephanie Igney, Ashley Schuh, Kara McBroom and Tonya Millington; along with 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Jerry was born in Warsaw, on June 11, 1938, to Earl and Norma Millington. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1956. On May 24, 1957, he married Glenda Egner. They had recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family. Jerry spent his life in a career he enjoyed as a maintenance supervisor; he loved working on things. He enjoyed life. Jerry especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as time with family. He enjoyed traveling to Michigan for family vacations and visiting his grandparent’s old homestead. After retiring from Sun Metal in 2001, Jerry enjoyed building bird houses and tinkering around in his garage. He also enjoyed taking pontoon rides around the lake.

Jerry was a spiritual man attending First Presbyterian Church in Warsaw. He was also involved in Warsaw Little League for 14 years and Warsaw Rifle Range. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw, is caring for Jerry and his family. The visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Aug. 6 with a Life Celebration® to follow at noon. Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood.
