She was born in Warsaw on Sept. 30, 1954, the daughter of Odell McCool Herron and the late Murry Herron, Sr. Judy graduated from Warsaw Community High School with the Class of ’74 and had retired from Chore-Time Brock after 21 years with the company. Judy was an active member of the Salvation Army Worship & Community Center in Warsaw.
She is survived by her children: Adam Hyde, of Claypool; and Katie (Dan) Sacks, of Vevay; grandchildren: Shelbie, Autumn and Noah Hyde, all of Claypool; her mother, Odell Herron, of Warsaw; brother, Murry Herron Jr., of Clearwater, Fla.; sisters: Martha Young, of Warsaw; and Dorothy Brumfield, of Lady Lake, Fla. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Edward Hyde; and her father, Murry Herron Sr.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 in The Salvation Army Church, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw. Arrangements through McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
The family’s preferred memorial is The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1257, Warsaw IN 46580.
