Ellen Ratliff, age 89, of Martin, Ky., widow of James “Jim” Ratliff, passed away on Easter Sunday morning at 11:47 a.m. April 17, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Ky. She was surrounded by her family who mourns her passing but knows she stepped into Heaven and no longer has the trials and tribulations of this earth.

She was born May 6, 1932, in Manton, Ky., a daughter of the late Ray and Pina Hill Click. She was a retired production worker for Kimble Glass.

She is survived by four children: Linda Vansant, Calvary, Ga.; Carolyn Leiter, Warsaw; Bevley Terry Ratliff, Martin, Ky.; and Sherry Runyan, Leesburg; one brother, Carl Click, Warsaw; two sisters: Ada Marshall Thrasher and Dixie Radie Marshall Miles, both of Warsaw; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Glennis Ratliff; one brother, Clyde Click; and one sister; Birdella Stephens Koontz.

Funeral service were conducted Wednesday, April 20 at noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky. Internment will take place at a later date at Click Cemetery on Stephens Branch Road, Martin, Ky.
