Announced Service Times

St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsaw, will have services for Easter this week. Today, services are at 7 p.m.; Good Friday, 7 p.m.; Easter Sunday, 10 a.m. Normal Sunday service times are at 8 and 10:15 a.m.

On April 24 at 2 p.m., the church will host a prayer and music remembrance service for Ukraine. All are welcome to join in prayers for peace.



Nelson To Give Sermon

CLAYPOOL – Pastor Nelson’s sermon is "He lives" at Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool.

Devotions are held every Wednesday from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Seder meal is 6 p.m. today. Tickets are required.

Sunrise service is at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast 8 a.m. and church service at 9 a.m. Sunday.

Everyone is welcome.



Beaver?Dam UMC Announces Service Times For Weekend

AKRON – There's a community-wide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Java Jacks in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.

Registration has begun for VBS at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, 9798 W. 1000 S., Akron: "Making Waves in the World with Jesus" from June 20-24. It is open to potty-trained 3-year-old to fifth grade. The church’s youth will be helping again this year. You must preregister by June 13 at https://form.123formbuilder.com/1350476/form.

On Friday, Good Friday service is at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, junior high girls Bible study is at Kyle and Khrista's house at 11 a.m.

On Sunday, there will be a sunrise service at 8 a.m. with a combined service at 9:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served between services. Youth worship will be at Akron from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, the Wheels on Fire meeting is at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, junior/senior high boys Bible study is from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Senior high girls Bible study is at Kyle and Khrista's house from 7 to 8:15 p.m.    

On Wednesday, youth group is at Akron from 6 to 7:30 p.m.



Burket UMC To Have Basement Sale April 29 And 30

BURKET – Burket United Methodist Church will have its annual basement sale April 29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 30 from 8 a.m. until noon. From 11 a.m. to noon April 30, there will be a $1 bag sale. All proceeds go to missions.



Aldersgate UMC To Hold Easter Worship

ATWOOD – Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 105 E. Hovey St., Atwood will have an Easter breakfast at 9 a.m. followed by Easter worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Sacred Heart To Hold Community Meal

A curbside carryout community meal will be offered at Sacred Heart Church, 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, on Tuesday from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The meal this month will feature sliced baked ham, green beans, mashed potatoes and a dessert. This month’s dinner is provided and served by Sacred Heart parishioners. There is no charge for the meal.   All in the community are welcome.  For more information, call 267-5842.



Family Worship To Have Country Breakfast

Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1250 Husky Trail, Warsaw, will have a country breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Donations are taken at the door.
