Claypool UMC To Hold Sunday School

CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will hold Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and church services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Devotions are held from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

Rev. Dave Hummel will be preaching Sunday.

Seder meal will be April 14 at 6 p.m. Tickets are required.

Easter service will be at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast at 8 a.m. and church services at 9 a.m.



Beaver Dam Announces Service Times

AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Java Jacks in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome.  Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.

Registration has begun for VBS: "Making Waves in the World with Jesus" from June 20-24th.  Open to potty-trained 3-year-old to fifth grade. The youth will be helping again this year.  You must preregister by June 13 at https://form.123formbuilder.com/1350476/form.

Sunday is Palm Sunday.  

Service times at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, are 9 and 10:31 a.m. with refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

The sermon is by Pastor Butch Troke. Carry-in and youth meeting are after the second service until 1:30 p.m. Bible study is at 6 p.m.

On Monday, Wheels on Fire meeting will be at 6:30 p.m.  The 4-H Club meeting is at 7 p.m.

On Tuesday, United Women in Faith (formerly UMW) lunch is at Warsaw, leaving the church at 10:30 a.m. Junior/senior high boys Bible study is from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Senior high girls Bible study is at Kyle and Khrista's house from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

Wednesday is final King's Kids of the season.  Supper is at 6 p.m. with music, crafts and a Bible lesson from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. It is open to potty-trained preschool age to fifth grade.  Youth group is at Akron from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

On April 15, Good Friday service will be at 6 p.m.

On April 16, junior high girls Bible study is at Kyle and Khrista's house at 11 a.m.

On April 17, Easter services will be held. Sunrise service is at 8 a.m. with a combined service at 9:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served between services.



St. Anne’s Donated To B.A.B.E.

In March, St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsaw, donated $675 and a bassinet full of baby supplies to B.A.B.E. The April outreach is Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) that was established by St. Anne's member Judge Bob Burner in 1990 to advocate for abused and neglected children. The first two directors were St. Anne's members Chuck and Deacon Anne Dorgan.

Stations of the Cross will be Friday at 5:30 p.m. On Palm Sunday, services will be at 8 and 10:15 a.m. Holy Week services will be at 7 p.m. on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Easter Sunday service will be at 10 a.m. The church livestreams its Sunday services on its public page on Facebook. Search for St. Anne's Episcopal Church Warsaw.



N. Manchester UMC To Hold Dinner

NORTH MANCHESTER – North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E. Second St., North Manchester, will host a baked steak dinner on Friday from 4 p.m. until sold out.

The dinner will be a drive-through only. The public is invited, and the cost is a freewill donation.



Herron Presents Message

MENTONE – The community is invited to join Mentone United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Mentone, on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. as Rev. Jeff Herron presents the message, “Where Pride Resides.”

We offer an Early Bird Adult Sunday School Class at 8:45 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., along with  worship service, the church offers Sunday Bible school for children ages 5 through fifth grade and Wee Kids Worship for ages newborn to 4 years old.

 On Wednesday nights, the church has its Feast & Fellowship program, which includes a light meal and a time of singing, worship and studying God’s word. It is held in the fellowship hall of the church.   All middle school and high school youth are invited to enjoy the meal and worship and then break off for their own time of learning and fellowship.  There is no Feast & Fellowship/Youth on Wednesday.

There is also a women’s Bible study at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays at Java Jacks.   

Palm Sunday worship is Sunday at  10:15 a.m.    Maundy Thursday service is April 14  at 6:30 p.m. Carry-in/fish and drink are provided.

Easter sunrise service is April 17 at 8 a.m. with continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and Easter worship at 10:15 a.m.

God’s Highway Holds Revival

A revival at God's Highway to Heaven Church, 555 Webber St., Warsaw, will be held Sunday with Pam Wood at 6 p.m., then Danny Hess from Virginia Monday through April 14 at 7 p.m.
